Fun Fact: in Toy Story 2 we were going to see the Buzz Lightyear Toy Factory. This was scrapped cause it would be way too similar to childs play 2 (plus the fact that both are stories about alive toys with kids named andy)

Fun fact: the part where Kyle flips him off 3:17 in the original version she said “play times over” but they decided not to use that so it became a deleted scene

I find this kind of "chemical" horror very fascinating. Does anyone know of movies in a similar genre to this? Ones where the characters in a factory and exposed to dangerous conveyers, toxic plastics, or gasses or chemicals, etc.? As someone who's pretty repulsed by the idea of dying in a pile of molten plastic, or being implanted with machine parts, I just find it refreshingly and genuinely scary.

I think chucky's screams as he endures the unendurable here are the most horrible aspect of this whole scene, and one imagines that this stayed with andy and the girl for a long time afterward.

I watched this scene when i was 4 or 5 years old. Lol i was flipping through the channels by myself in my living room and this popped up. My mom must have had HBO or something at the time. It was the first horror scene i ever saw in my life and it left me permamently traumatized
