Shocked how few reviews mention this moment. It stood out so much because of how peripheral and silent Colin usually is

Completely underrated moment.
This is it for Ken. He’s always had a weak spot for that kid he killed in England. And his Dad knows it. And all the partying and schmoozing and throwing Daddy under the bus and all the money in the world won’t make the death of that kid go away.

Colin is the scariest person in this show, this scene gave me chills.

And now Ken gets to spend the rest of his life chained to someone who KNOWS him. Knows the worst thing he’s ever done. When Ken essentially bought him off in episode 9, it played as (and so many people bought it as) a badass “killer” move by Ken to bury his skeletons but instead it’s just one more self own. Literally being shadowed by his past.

The eyes man. He is the dude who helped get rid of the whole dead waiter thing. Billions of dollars are nothing compared to a horrifying secret and an intimidating personality.

This was shot like a horror film. For the first few seconds the camera just holds on Ken's stupefied reaction before smash-cutting to what he's looking at. And then the *real* scare gets delivered.

This is what Scott Nicholson (playing Colin) said in an interview for Vulture, about this scene: "Jeremy wasn’t prepared for that. Colin is thinking about how he can direct Kendall without being too powerful. That’s why I went with the whisper, and I made that decision at the last second."

Ken's face when Colin enters the room. Wow. Brilliant acting

The look on Ken's face, the delayed panning of the camera, the unexpected scene, and the recall of character that hadn't been seen in a while; all elements that made this directing superb. A 35-second scene yet it blew everybody a way. The best creative writing.

And this is why Ken had to have Colin on his payroll.

The coldest line in all of the seasons. Kendall in all of his bullshitting can't bullshit one inch with Colin. Every body tightened up when he "checked in" me included.

Brilliantly shot over the shoulder to highlight the imposing height difference

I failed to remember this guy but the way he was looking at Kendall made it very clear what he was referring to

Colin's just doing his job. He's "The Mountain" for the Roy regime

I hope the death of the waiter storyline plays a big part later this season. I have a feeling it will.

the immediate change in Ken's face

Colin's eyes are scarier than any monster in any horror film.

To me this was not about the cover up. Logan cannot use that. It is a more general but as chilling threat from the guy who makes Logan untouchable like he did in Season 1 for Marcia when Shiv tried to investigate her. He knows EVERYTHING, so anyone against him is at a disadvantage.

The waiters death is Succession's 'Chekhov's Gun' - its bound to come out at some point its just a matter of when Logan will use it

Amazing scene. Nothing more needed to be said. Ken is reminded of the conversation in the laundry room at the beach house. Ken left the room, security guy watching him leave, and now it is the security guy leaving and subtly reminding Ken to tread lightly. It's a test from Logan. Logan ultimately wants Ken to pull through threats and be a killer and he sets up this roadblock to see if Ken will back down or persist on.
