I am very happy with my backend developer position here at Booz Allen hamilton but to be honest it is pretty challenging.
I take my weekend to be able to keep up.
I also take 4 hours each day within a week to code on the side and learn about tool and things .
I am getting confident each day

I totally second and third this experience. Coming from real estate/mortgage sales, the companies that were most interested in intervirwing me as a full stack dev were property /financial technology companies in the real estate/mortgage space.

These days, my LinkedIn DMs are full of people that want me to interview at their prop/fin tech companies.

My carpenter friend got a full stack dev position at a a software company that manages deal flow and leads for contractors.

this is very strange, he was heavy applying to low grade position like email developer but got hired as a data analyst?
something just doesnt make sense here, its like applying to be a taxi driver and getting a job offer to be a pilot.
