I like the style of this tutorial... Anything that's obvious or self explanatory you explain and then anything somebody might need a tutorial you skip for now which makes it nice and easy to follow along

I have never heard of this board before but I have to say they are starting to live up to the BIG in their name. Soon we will get ATX motherboard sizes from them.

Great tutorials as always, you are one of the best Edward, I have this board sitting on my desk awayting a new CoreXY build with 3 or 4 independant Z motors

Awesome...I have been waiting for a video like this. I have converted an Ender 3 to an Extender XL kit. I want to add 5 extruders so I opted for the GTR 1.0.

TMC2208 and TMC2209s were not happy under 12v, especially when running stealth chop. Switched to 24v and they haven't missed a beat.

@Edward Braiman
Where can we connect thermistors? I did not here about in the video. Is it possible without any extra adapter board? Sorry if it is a beginner question.

I am very interested in seeing a video about the Raspberry Pi expansion. I have this board ordered already.

grandes y unicos videos ¿porque los hotends E0 E1 E2 llevan positivo y negativo? estaria bien un video con los hotends y conexion de servos

hi! nice video. can i ask why you prefer 12v over 24v? i hear many people say 24v is better because you have lower currents =) cheers

I am adding a 220v silicone bed to my machine with a ssr module(Fotek SSR-40DA). Since the board has an Input and Output ports, I don't know which one I should be using for the positive and negative cables coming from the ssr.
Do I plug them into the ”Bed Power In” port or the '' Bed Power Out'' port to trigger the heat bed?

Good Day Ed, curious if you can help me out pls.? I've upgraded to this GTR board years ago and ever since my CR-10s has languished, i've just added a Micro Swiss NG instead of the cheapo dual extruder i was trying to upgrade to. When the steppers ran in opposite directions, i fixed that by flipping the connectors around, but now i am receiving an Echo: error ... it says Unknown Command M 140 S (whatever number the heat bed is instructed for). Thought maybe i wired the bed incorrectly b/c as you point out those wires are reversed. I meticulously compiled firmware, and have been resigned to believe the variable for M140 must be ENABLED, but i cannot find a line of code in VsCode to editing? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated, trying to print a Mando helmet for my nephew for Christmas!?!

interesting board, not many home users would probably need it. any chance of an ABL tutorial for the skr 1.4 turbo or just 1.4, i have never hooked up a probe before, and always used manual bed leveling. thanks for the video's.

I’ve been trying to get this to work on my ff creator pro 2. It’s an idex. But kipper won’t even start because the temp sensors and spi connections are also confusing.

I have a question regarding this board. It might be a stupid one. If so sorry for that. But coming with independent power inlets for bed, board and motors would it be possible to for example use three power supplies, e.g. 12V for the Board, 24V for the motors and lets say another 24V exclusively for the bed?

Thanks in advance....

I know I'm commenting 6 months later and there's most likely an updated version of VSCode. I can't figure out how to open a search once you open src then core then boards. It appears you click on the screen and type GTR but mine is not letting me do that.
