Drank for years and decided to give it up. I’ve used that energy and directed it into my profession. It’s night and day difference, never touching the stuff again. This man helped me get my life back.

Jordan: What Would Life Look Like if You Tried?

Me: What do you mean by life? What do you mean tried? What do you mean like? Let's break this down a bit, because THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE QUESTION. This is a complex question comprised of sub-questions that sound simplistic in nature, but the depth is immense.

If I tried

The first rules: chaos and order
(Creation)

The complement of chaos and order forms infinite possibilities. This shapes reality.

One of these possibilities is life. It uses the rules of chaos and order to create more efficient potentials.

As a result, life uses this to generate its maximum potential, and from it, human beings are born.

Humans, by converting chaos into order, generate consciousness.

Consciousness gives humans the understanding that reality can create order from chaos and chaos from order (The Self).

The chaos generated in the order of consciousness produces the ego. This generates an individualization that separates humans from their reality (The Self).

Thus, consciousness is order generated from chaos, and the ego is chaos generated from order.

Consciousness, in seeking to impose order on the chaos of the ego, finds faith.

Faith is the potential to sacrifice the individuality of the present and face chaos for the well-being of the future. Faith is represented in the person of an individual.

The results of these actions will guide humans towards Order. Towards TRUTH.

When the ego enters order creating chaos, and consciousness converts that chaos into order, an intellect is generated, and the intellect becomes the shadow of the ego.

Humans see the world through a common story, which is a limited perspective. If we follow the Divine story of Christ from this limited point, it means that God showed us His face using what we perceive as lies (serpents) to show us His truth, which is incomprehensible to anyone.

In Numbers 21:8-9 (NIV):

“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Make a venomous snake and put it on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.’ So Moses made a bronze snake and put it on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.”

This event was not only an act of mercy by God towards His repentant people but also a prophetic symbol that Jesus Christ Himself used to speak of His death on the cross as the solution for sin and the salvation of humanity.

(John 3:14-15):

“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

The dragon that has transcended all the walls we have imposed in every sense throughout our history is the lie, and God gave us a pole with the head of the dragon to look at and be healed of our wounds (The Passion of Christ). But it is a lie from the perspective that humans see reality, that is, in a story, because we all know that no man is born without a father and no man is capable of performing miracles like dying and resurrecting. But once God reincarnates in the flesh of sacrifice, this means that not only did He become God, but He always was God. Thus, from a metaphysical and transcendental perspective, although Jesus' acts in His life as a man were simply human acts and He healed people through His intellect, whether with knowledge of medicine or the knowledge of language to speak magical words, when the prophecy is fulfilled as written in the Old Testament, all of Jesus' past becomes Divine intervention because in all His future He will be known as the perfect image of God.

To understand God's purpose when He intervened in Jesus and became the Christ, we must understand how man created a relationship with the lie. The first lie of man was the pride in his intellectual potential, thinking he could get away with it and hide from God even having the knowledge and understanding of God's omnipotence. God, knowing absolutely everything that had happened, asks Adam, "Where are you?" and Adam, knowing that God knows what happened, still tries to impose his intellect and thinks that by acting as a victim, even knowing the absolute truth, God would forgive him for lying. That is the second lie.

Genesis 3:1-13 (NIV):

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, ‘Did God really say, "You must not eat from any tree in the garden?"’
The woman said to the serpent, ‘We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, "You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die."’
‘You will not certainly die, ’ the serpent said to the woman. ‘For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
But the Lord God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’
He answered, ‘I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.’
And he said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?’
The man said, ‘The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.’
Then the Lord God said to the woman, ‘What is this you have done?’
The woman said, ‘The serpent deceived me, and I ate.’”

Adam, "naked, " aware of good and evil, understands that his actions continue to descend and knows that God can see the decadence of his intellect from his state of perfection, and in an act of desperation, he tries to act as the victim of intellect, thinking this is the correct way to obtain redemption. Thus, the intellect plays with his reality, and he blames the woman for having given him the fruit and putting him in that position when he always knew the truth of the situation. The woman is tempted by the serpent, the temptation to ignore God's orders and use the temptation itself as an excuse to victimize herself because God gave her the gift of free will, because He gave her life. That idea is the forbidden fruit; that is where the understanding of good and evil begins. The idea of the intellect (the serpent) is the lie that gives rise to the first story, and that is the truth that can heal us.

The basis of human reality is composed of what is to come because we are space-time beings, and the truth that forms the most important aspect of cultural civilization as we know it is the family, "what is to come": mother, father, and child, which is the most significant process and the purest creation we can conceive. For a family, a child represents the perfect image of God, absolute truth, omnipotence because there is nothing that parents would not do for the well-being of their child, and omnipresence because it is always necessary for the child to be present for what they need and the process of developing their being is not obstructed because it contains the potential of a hero. A child matures to become a man or woman, and that is how the divine becomes human. In that process, parents must give their perfect creation to the adventures and dangers of the world. It is part of the human development process, but no father or mother is prepared. However, no one learns to walk without falling, much less learns to run without sacrifice. There is no salvation. Parents' love knows this, yet the intellect recognizes the dangers and risks. The child will always demand the truth, and the truth of the parents is that they want the best for them, and the best for the child's development is to lie and gradually lower the guard, even against the parents' will. It is necessary to deliver the child to the world because the truth is that from the moment they were born, they no longer belong to the parents; they belong to the world as much as the world belongs to them.

Jesus had a birth and a common life like every human, He was one of us. And thanks to His perfect sacrifice and doing the will of God acting in absolute truth, He took the role of God. Thus, He became the son of humanity, the most important thing, the center of every family. This is how God reincarnates in Christ, the truth, fully human and fully divine, in a meta-story. Thus, God is born from the virgin matter and is the King of the Earth.

My God is a lie because my story is based on a lie since Satan rules this earth. My search for the truth transcends this world. I desire to enter the promised land, but I am a sinner because my God is a lie.

2 Corinthians 4:4: “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

Ultimately, the only truly impeding limiter to realizing one's potential is the discipline of self, and taking hold of each justification that chains man to the negative emotional states .. all are lies, and all are of self manufacture. When applying this tool, remember also that you were blind and ignorant when those chains were forged, and as you could not have known what you did, you should also forgive yourself, in the bargain. Self discipline is not punishment .. it is Liberation. 🔥💜✨

I would love to hear you (Dr Peterson) do more of an exploration of your second rule of “12 more rules for life”: imagine who you could be, and then aim single-mindedly at that.

The chapter in the book was an analysis of the alchemists drawing, which I found very fascinating, but not all that helpful.

This is a subject I’ve been exploring on my own channel but would love to hear from on it from you.
