Put the bracket under the shingle (over the nails) after you take it out then hit with a hammer. You don't need that silly tool. I never seen anybody hitting the way he showed. Smh

I'd like to have one. I try not to work on roofs though. When I do they're my roofs. I try to give my property whatever it needs.

I like it if a simple tool will make my quality of work even better.

Put the roof bracket under the shingle to smack the nails down hahaha. No roofer wants another tool in there belt. It's been done like this forever. This guy is a clown

Life is easy:
If the shingles are sealed, get a flat bar (or use the edge of a proper roofer's hatchet), pry it up, bang the nails back in, apply a dollop of flashing cement there and press the shingle back down. That area will be the last piece to blow off in a storm because it'll have much more tar on it than the field of the roof.

The guys commenting on how the tool is unnecessary are correct, however I can't blame the inventor for trying to make a buck. I have a few prototypes of my own that i wish i could afford to patent. Perhaps if the tool had other uses, (prying, pulling nails) it would be looked at more favorably by the critics.
