This made me cry, and not just because it was a beautiful performance. It made me cry because we are waking up to the heaps of narcissistic abuse that this country has had to take from within its Congressional chambers, let alone the Oval Office. We've seen the ugliness that is Christo-fascism's adherents attempting to dismantle our Constitution and government and replace it with something far too akin to Hitler and Mussolini's doings, to say nothing of a modern equivalent in Kim Jong-Un.

This is us, taking back our power after realizing it is being stolen from us, bit by bit. And we are saying "Oh, hell no!" When decent Republicans are actually lining up to join us Democrats to preserve our country's dignity, you know just how dastardly and sinister this Project 2025 is. And these kids singing our national anthem is poignant as heck, because as cheesy as it might sound to others, we need to vote for their future.
