*For people that want to really know how, if you go true pacifist and after sparing Papyrus, he just flys over your head back to Snowdin so he just does the same thing

In the game, papyrus is shown to be able to take off into the skies (seen after sparing in pacifist). this is probably the way in which he "hops" across the puzzles, gliding sloweley above what ever puzzle he is jumping.

Papyrus has blue soul magic. He's been shown to modify the jump height in his battle, and he's also just kinda flutterwalked over Frisk after being spared. Does not surprise me.

Both skelebros have their own means of getting around, Sans has shortcuts, while Papyrus has floating, which in itself is gravity manipulation like when he turns your soul blue or when sans slams your soul, which could suggest that they're not THAT different from each other
