Here at Liberty, we focus on the timeless basics: worshiping God, studying God’s Word, serving each other and seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our pastor preaches from the King James Bible, and he is a true Bible believer; he believes that the Word of God is the final authority. The services are exciting, old fashioned style services where the brethren are exhorted and encouraged, and sound doctrine is preached unashamedly.

We still sing the old hymns, we still go soulwinning, and we still stand against sin. We think we’ve found something special at LBC. It’s more than a church, it’s a place where we feel “at home” and we want to welcome you to experience it too. Come experience liberty with us!

There is a common idea around here that the work you need to do in order to be saved is to maintain a repentant attitude. So when/if you believe in Christ, that's because you see the evil of your sin. The trouble comes for people who believe that if they sin willfully, then they are in an unsaved-possibly-never-saved state, and then if they return to a correct attitude to sin, they are properly saved again. Some of these are saved and later poorly taught. Some are unsaved, and trusting in their commitment to "repentance".
I think the distinction between religious people that need to repent of their false notions, and regular people who don't have religious notions to repent of is really helpful.

If Jonah 3:10 "isn't clear" to someone that turning from evil is that same person needs to admit that Ephesians 2:8-9 isn't clear that salvation is not of works. In other words, such people would be hypocrites.
