I bought a 2023 Forester Touring last month, I'm glad I got the old system. To me physical knobs are better. This is all to save money by turning physical interfaces into cheap software. I hope Subaru redesigns this system soon.

You have to be kidding me! I purchased a 2022 Outback but returned it four months later mainly because of this. I purchased a 2023 Forester. None of this mess. Did you notice that the fuel and temp gauges are backwards?

Ah yes, gotta love infotainment screens the size of a 65’ flatscreen TV. Totally not distracting at all! And temp controls are integrated into there too. What a gaudy nightmare.

Was comparing one of these in the Limited trim here in Canada and man, that infotainment and harmon kardon was lacking. Especially compared to the CX-30 GT or Kona N-Line Ultimate. They leave Subaru in the dust in regards to audio, infotainment, and interior quality. Other than its AWD system, suspension, and tank size it sadly loses me. It would be a solid option though to me if it was an 8 speed instead of CVT, and the infotainment/audio was better. A/C settings not being physical controls is also a deal breaker for quick driver utilization.

Alex, love your videos. I have a Crosstrek and was hoping you could explain how to increase the time warnings are shown in instrument display. By the time you take your eyes off the road the warning is gone. Hope you can help, Subaru Canberra didn’t have a clue.

The clock app took 5 seconds to load. Knowing how tablets and phones tend to get slowed to death by software updates meant for newer hardware I'm worried that this is only going to get slower.

Can you use Android Auto without physically connecting your phone via a cable? That's what I have to do in my 2020, and getting my 2024 tomorrow.

Love the 11.6 inch display! Did not like my 2021 split screen. Appreciate the wireless CarPlay and charging. Hated the buttons on the 2021 at the bottom left of the steering wheel. Like the concentric loading of buttons on the 11.6 . In addition the screen is integrated. I hate the iPad look of many car infotainment systems.

This is what is holding me back of buying new WRX with nice offer, less interest rate and no MSRP. 
That touchscreen UI is horrible and could not deal with it being as Subaru owner. Volvo in the other hand did amazing job with their vertical screen and their UI.
