This isn't a song. This is a journey.

I’m 70 years old and grew up with the Stones and Led Zeppelin ect but seeing Nightwish has restored my faith in current music. Sensational

Am I the only one who starts getting all emotional with the concept of the song?? How can other bands ever compete with what Nightwish have turned into? This is philosophy, storytelling, poetry, science if you will...This is all what metal could be to me.

This song is an anthem for Humanity. The line, We Were Here, is tragically beautiful.

Anyone who thinks that a scientific worldview is cold, emotionless, and spiritually unsatisfying needs to hear this song. One of the most beautiful and moving things I've ever heard.

I am 66 years old and only "found" Nightwish a few weeks ago, I must have been deaf until then, they are awesome.

One of the most beautiful pieces written by a modern composer. Tuomas is an absolute genius

One doesn’t listen to Nightwish, one experiences Nightwish

I'm 63 now. Grew up with Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Renaissance and other Hardrock or Artrock stuff. And discovered Nightwish last year. It' a great performance!

The visuals at the "We were here!" finale always get me. Thank you, Nightwish, for reminding us of our humanity, our better and cosmic natures, and giving us words to dream by and live by.

14:16 - 14:47 The Evolution of Music
This has to be my favorite part of the song because it's so subtle that you might not catch it the first time around, but it's arguably the most brilliant part of the song in terms of storytelling.
Within about 30 seconds, you can hear a beautiful representation of musical history.
It begins with a harpsichord playing Bach's Minuet in G, followed by the voices of Chrismas Carolers singing a snippet that's reminiscent of Carol of the Bells to represent the Classical Music of the 18-1900s; it then moves to mid-20th century american Country Music with a short snippet of a banjo diddy ; the early 21st century follows afterwards with a riff from Metallica's "Enter Sandman" to represent the Golden Age of Classic Metal; it then ends with the drumkit briefly switching from acoustic to digital as it plays an EDM style beat to represent Club Music and the modern era.
This is not a part of the song I see people talk about often and I think it definitely deserves more praise because it's absolutely genius.

This is not a rock concert or opera! This is an almost transcendental symphonic experience!

Thank you All of you. Old and new members of the band because Nightwish is history, is music, is emotion. Thank you.

"Ghost Love Score" was the love at first sight as when we heard Nightwish first time and loved them.
"The Poet and The Pendulum" was the mourning for the old times of Nightwish and calling for the new dark adventures
"The Greatest Show on Earth" was the great announcement of the epic era is about to come as Nightwish has finally established their best line-up!

Now it is the time for "All the Works of Nature Which Adorn the World"

Nightwish said they would never do this live. And then they did. And we were blessed. Blessed us all. 🙏

I get emotional every time I hear the "We were here" part. This song really helps you remember how small you are compared to the universe and the things that came before and the things that will come after. It reminds us there's going to be time when humans don't exist anymore or that we'll one day be considered an ancient civilization ourselves. Beautiful! I've listened to this song so many times, I've lost count and I know I'll keep coming back to listen again!
