Some things that has helped in my household.

1. Limit the number of sweets readily available in the home. If my wife bakes a dessert a majority portion goes to the office to be shared or frozen in sections for a later time.

2. Smaller dessert portions. Instead of eating a entire cupcake for example, my wife and me will split-it.

3. Desserts are considered a special treat not a common snack item or something to eat when hungry.

Cookies, donuts and bread are my issues. I'm going to dramatically reduce those and increase my water intake. I hope drinking more water will curb my cravings. Thanks for the info.

Avoiding the bad food isn't a issue for me. My issue is that a lot of the good food I don't eat. Maybe a vid on alternatives.

Sugar is a killer. Keep your sugar intake as low as possible, a lot of maladies are responsible for HIGH SUGAR INTAKE.

If I’m new to intermittent fasting is it okay to start the first week with a bigger eating time frame window? Example start with 10 hours the first week. Then second week 9 hours and then third week focus on the 8 hour window you recommend?
