Been using an Ultrawide monitor for about a year now : NEVER going back. NEVER. For video editing, this is absolutely the best tool, even better I think than using two monitor. The stretch timeline is everything. Cheers mate !

That monitor is looking SIIICK! I have the older generation and I hate that my screen just doesn't match the retina display of my iMac but you will love the real estate granted with this screen. Congrats! Desk is looking refined!

I noticed the reds are quite different in your past couple of vids. Have you switched your colour profile or your grading? Not a huge fan of the red & orange tones to be honest, but the rest is looking dope!

I gotta say, I haven’t been a fan of my specific Dell. I had a BenQ FP241W for 11 years! Then I decided to pass it down to my mom, thinking, “11 years later, monitors have gotta all be better.”

So I bought “the” Dell monitor everyone raves about. Unfortunately, I’ve been disappointed for the last 2 years because my BenQ was so much more color and contrast accurate. And I felt bad taking the monitor back from my mommy 😅

All that said, I’m going back to BenQ very soon, and doing it big. Although, it’s not a ultra wide, I just can’t get myself to like them or multi monitor setups for some reason. Gimme one really big boi any day 👍

I agree! These ultrawide curved monitors are so amazing! I have the LG Ultrawide 34 Inch. Sometimes I have to move my head side to side to see it all!

A nice upgrade for the workspace! I got 49" Dell, that a bit overkill and maybe even to wide for video editing, but works perfectly for programming and any other productivity tasks.

Nice new additions Peter! Quick question, did you calibrate that monitor or are you just using it with the default settings? Do you ever check your color grades on the iPad or another device before uploading to social media to make sure they look fairly similar across devices?
