Razer Blade Stealth Hands-On: Slim and Speedy

Razer's ultra-portable Blade Stealth line has been updated with better graphics, including Intel 10th gen chips and up to an Nvidia 1650 GPU. These laptops may be super thin and weight around 3lbs, but they pack a lot of gaming power into that tiny package.

1650 is quite good for 1080p high, considering it's close to rx470 class.. hopefully next gen 7nm xx50 series will close the gap to 1660 level though

Really don't understand why you would put a 4k display on a small laptop. There is no practical use case for that for 99% of potential buyers.

MY Aorus x3 v17, a 13.9" laptop with an i7 7820hk and GTX 1060 was released about 18 months ago and filled this category nicely. You can still get the 7700hq/ GTX 1060 for $1900.

Thats better greaphics than a vega 16 on a macbook pro.
The industry has got to move away from soldered on ram and ssds, even though it makes them insane profits, because people pay crazy upgrade prices at time of purchase.
People are finally saying no and keeping theiur older upgradeable machines and some manufatuers are listening.

Why does this laptop only have 1 thunderbolt 3 port when the 10nm chips have 4 built-in thunderbolt 3 ports.

It’ll be good to compare the power and thermals between this and its closest competitor, the MSI Prestige 14. The MSI is a few hundred dollars less than the Razor Blade.

Would also be good if I can see both at the same time at a retailer. I don’t need a new laptop immediately but at least their are small laptops now decent specs.
