For the 9, 000th time the council of nicea didn't set the cannon of the Bible

No, it means the church in Rome split. That’s where Catholicism began, not with Jesus, and definitely not by Peter.

Highly inaccurate. The Catholic Church existed for hundreds of years before Constantine. Please stop spreading lies

This isn't true at all. The canon wasn't set at the council of Nicea. And Constantine never had any input on the canon.

This is why its so important to follow the man that god has appointed, and to really look into your beliefs otherwise a bunch of people with differing agendas will decide it for you and you'll be following something far away from the truth even with the best of intentions

No, sorry, Constantine did not determine what books went into the Bible. The council Nicea did not determine what books went into the Bible.

That was Athanasius in 367, 30 years after Constantine died.

This video is completely inaccurate. Be careful what you watch on the internet.

The Council of Nicaea didn't have anything to do with the Bible. It was about the deity of Christ.

For those who are claiming that Constantine didn't have anything to do with the formation of the Bible: there are two or three people whom we can trace back the current New Testament Canon to: Eusebius of Caesarea, Athanasius of Alexandria and Origen of Alexandria. Two of these three, Eusebius and Athanasius, lived in the same time period as Constantine and BOTH OF THEM were directly commissioned by Constantine to compile the Bible for him in Greek to use it to teach the Churches.

We are talking about a time period where there is a big dispute about the nature of Christ. Each of the opposing parties would obviously use different texts to support their claims and would consider the texts that the others are using as heretical. So by Constantine siding with a specific party with a specific agenda and a specific canon to promote, he, the Pagan Gentile, is definitely responsible for the Bible we have today.

This guy has read too much _Dan Brown_ . The Council of Nicea was called to deal with the Arian Heresy. Jerome put the canon together in 400 A.D.

The Roman Catholic Church came 600 years after Christ. They were not the first church and the New Testament was written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, James, and Jude around 560 years before Catholicism. We were called Christians first in Antioch in Acts 11 after Barnabas brought Saul (Paul) to Antioch where they taught the disciples for about a year, the text says that "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch" (Acts 11:26). If you’re going to act like an authority on biblical knowledge, you should know what’s actually in it and who actually wrote and compiled it because everything in this video is completely erroneous.

Revelation 3:20
Behold,  I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,  I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

You'll find different degrees of truth in any bible-believing religion but you will never find any religion in the true Bible believing truth
