OCTO VW BUS MEET 2022 Long Beach CA over 350 buses

R A D cruises up the coast with sum buddy's for the Orange County Transporter Organization June “O.C.T.O. Meet 2022”. This is their Summer VW bus event. It is a swap and display meet, for 1967 and earlier Volkswagen buses only, held at Long Beach Veteran’s Memorial Stadium, Long Beach, CA.

Please make more videos like this!!! The CA bus people rule. I'm outside Philly PA and the ac VW scene here is weak here in comparsion. We have Flanders which is the All Air Cooled Gathering coming up this month though which is pretty RAD, haha.

Dude, I love how this video is put together! Saying 'hi' to everyone, people just popping their heads into the camera at random. Just great! I have 2 buses, both are '61's, a double cab and a double door panel. Both purchased in the late 80's, both in sunny and dry Albuquerque! I relocated to Kentucky, and put the buses in a newly built pole barn. They've been sitting there patiently waiting for me to get them back on the road, and l'm gonna start with the panel. Should have her back in action again by summer '23. Keep up the good work!

Don't think I've ever stayed till the very end of a SOTO or OCTO show. I guess all the cool kids hang till the end. Cool to see. Next time ID each of the people. It'd be nice to put names to faces.
