Battery test comparing Dark Mode and Light Mode to see how much battery life you can save using Dark Mode on your phone.

We conducted this test using iPhone XS Max running on iOS 13, but the results should relatively similar on other phones using OLED displays with Dark Mode enabled.

Discord conditioned to me be a big dark mode fan, it made me realize how much of an eye strain darker and mellow colors such as black and grey are, not only does it look a lot more gentle on the eye but good for night browsing and saving battery as well, what a big plus.

I absolutely love dark mode. I'm visually impaired and with my eye condition it's way easier for me to see things in dark mode. For me, the more apps I can use in dark mode the less eye strain I have, which translates to less migraines. So yeah, I'm so happy that dark mode is becoming more common.
