This brings me back to family dinner. My brother at one corner refusing to eat his vegetables, me at the other corner refusing to drink my milk and not being able to leave the table until we finish. We are, of course, in our 60’s and this happened last week.

This was such a minor detail but I'm so pleased that Ryan included it. On every cooking show, whenever there is a pause, they try to create a moment of tension by doing the same cymbal crash. I watched the entire Hell's kitchen series with my wife and they did that seven or eight times per scene. She thought I was crazy for being annoyed by that to where I almost couldn't watch the shows anymore. I feel so seen right now.
