No matter what I tried from the manual, IT DID NOT WORK!!!! Wasted over an hour trying to get it to work. until I finally gave up. BUT... I decided to check YouTube. Works like a charm. Thanks! My opener is a Linear brand and worked the same as with your Chamberlain, which leads me to believe it will work with any garage opener brand.

This process worked really well for my new Ford Edge except mine required one more step. Once I had programmed the homelink button in the car, then I had to go to the garage door opener and push the learn button on the motor assembly, then go back to the car and push the homelink button I had programmed... Twice. Hope this helps someone else.

Holy crap, this actually worked! One question though... Do you have to use a certain button? I tried peogramming it to the center button and it wouldn't work, I had to use the right button like you did.
