And a mountain lion or coyote will 100% take down an adult alpaca. They need a guardian animal to watch over THEM.

😂 3 alpacas rain around the property in summer. 2 females and one fixed male. There are wolves and coyotes in the area, and I have not had any issues with them.

They don’t protect the chickens per se, but they do protect. 🤔.. they recently made friends with a stray cat..🤫… I think they use her for mice control 😂
