Pregnant that long?! Oh God, now I feel guilty I said 9 months was enough, and my kids came even weeks before that😄

Can I ask why mom doesn't lick their kids dry? I hope I don't sound dumb but I really thought every animal cleaned their baby after birth? (Except for the known ones that don't have to ofcourse)

If they don't dry the babies themselves wouldn't that affect things in the wild or are alpacas not something that exist in the wild?

Hi I’m Joshua from Victoria Australia and we have like 32 llamas. We did have some alpacas when I was younger but they died because they were like 14 or 15 years old. We just had a baby llama born about two weeks ago and we should hopefully have between 3 to 6 more in a month or two.
