I get pretty tired of people talking the second JJ gets a piece of paper in her hand.

BE QUIET AND LET HER READ!

Yeah, it's not reasonable to expect them to hold the car in inventory indefinitely. What was she thinking 🤔

The daughter looks like Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice…😂😂😂

If she REALLY signed a contract saying she'd pay it off in 90 days, then why did they still have the car & ACCEPT HER PAYMENTS over 6 months later?

Paying 200 down on a 7200 car is ridiculous 😅

I’m very shocked that JJ didn’t match the signature in the plaintiffs sworn answer she does that from time to time

Not sure why J hasn't addressed the claim of a counterfeit signature by comparing it to other documents she's signed? She often does that comparison for us. Lay away cars on lots must be seriously frustrating for car dealerships though.

If you can't afford the car, and aren't even going to be using it, why not just save the money and find something when you have the cash 😭

layaway and she said there was no limit on how long? That doesnt make any sense. They should have charged $50/day storage.

Those first generation New Beetles were known reliability nightmares. She would've ended up sinking a lot more money into fixing it. She dodged a bullet.

I have never heard of someone buying a car but needing to leave it with the dealer until a certain amount was paid... that's why people finance cars, so they can take it with them and use it while they pay the car note...

Hmmm why didn’t she just finance it so her daughter could drive it off the lot?

Judge Judy needs to get it together. I have heard her say to litigants more than once that if you accept or agree to hold someone's property you have an obligation to keep it safe. I guess not this time?

That's too long to hold a car. 😅 after so many months the value drops & after a week or so not driving I have to jump my car.

Sounds like the plaintiff is well on her way to losing this case. I almost believe her about the forged signature though. There are some crooked car salesmen out there. Plus if it was as limited as they said it was, then why was the car on "layaway" well past that period?

They should have kept the car in good condition regardless. What if she fell through? They would need to upkeep the car so someone else could purchase it

We're going to ignore the fact that the daughter came in looking like a vampire? 😂😂

I agree with JJ that it’s ridiculous for her to expect them to hold the car indefinitely but that “contract” for 90 days looks sketch. Why is the other part of the agreement on professional looking paper and that looks like something they whipped up on a notepad.

Does the daughter identify as a vampire?
