Hello, I would like to ask one question for question 3 part a),
why can the (1/4)t be ignored when setting the two vectors as parallel to compare i and j components?
Thank you for the video!

27:44 is the only thing I was stuck on and there is no explanation. Nice

In 5a, why would you not just use 120=t*ucosx to rearrange for t? Would that not work instead of factorising the other one?

For 5a, I tried setting t=120/Ucosα from the horizontal motion. In the vertical motion, you know s=0, u=Usinα, v=0, a= -g and t =120/Ucosα, so I tried using v = u + at. I got U^2 cosαsinα = 2(588). Why doesn't it work?

hi, at 12:49 i dont really understand why the velocity vector will be parallel to that other vector? wouldn't the displacement vector be parallel to it or something

4c doesn't make any sense, why can you do Tcos0 to get it vertically? If you do 2mgcos0 you get R which is parallel that of the string, yet it seems to work backwards? It would only work if T was the hypotenuse. How do we know that?

For question 4, why is it that there is no normal reaction for the weight of the beam (mg) and weight of C of 2mg?
