THIS SAVED MY ASS AND GOT ME HOME! Got stuck in the middle of a small dirt road in the mountains of North Carolina with no help available. In less than 3 minutes after seeing this I was rolling again.

Man! This video just kept me from going insane. My 04 is my work truck, and after 200k well cared for miles it’s getting faulty on me. This was the latest thing and I was ready to junk the ol girl. I thought the trans was gone. One pop, and as button push later, and all is right with the world. 😅

Thanks damn much for this. Been having both trucks in and out of the shop the month or so, so financed have been tight. So getting the issue fixed with it being stuck in park had had to be pushed off.(just used E brake and left it in neutral. This has made my life so much easier and taken a big relief off my shoulders of accidentally putting it in park and not being able to get it back out.

Wish this was out in 2015. Man!!! Had to have it towed etc. 2004 model.
Mine went out because the cruise control quit working. How crazy is that? Tow bill was cheap. But they charged me over $700, at the dealership to fix it. Said they replaced whole console.
Also when ya shifter cable breaks, it is just the macaroni end pieces that break off. And $8 dollar fix. Not $219 “ out the door”! 😡
I had a moron fix the bottom part then he left me stranded for two days so I had to do the top part myself. He lives near me, soon as I left he was calling me. wound up giving him $60. And
had to run him down to do that!
Crooks abound!!
