What you see is what you get, that’s his voice. Not an imitation of Freddie. As legendary Queen drummer Roger Taylor remarked in an interview with the Daily Record: “That voice. You listen, close your eyes and you think it’s Freddie. It’s really uncanny.”

You need to check Marc's band worldwide. They are selling out stadiums in countries everywhere. Freddie is gone, and Adam Lambert cannot sing Freddie, but Marc can. People today are seeing and hearing what people heard 30 years ago. It's a matter of supply and demand.

I'm a huge Marc fan, so I loved seeing your joy watching Marc perform this song!! He did the "beepiditty boppity boos" at his recent concerts in South America. 😂 And when he does the occasional solo performances - yes he performs a whole setlist of Queen entirely by himself sometimes - he whistles the guitar solos on quite a few of the songs.

I'm never one to say he should replace Adam (love what Marc does with his own band - he's phenomenal live!), and never will, but your point that they chose Adam because he's original? I dunno! - Marc definitely adds his own spin to Queen songs, just like you saw (and exclaimed over) in the vid. He recorded his own interpretations of 8 Queen songs on his cover EP, Thunderbolt and Lightning. He's fully capable of doing that, but he doesn't stray far when performing Queen live, as he does a tribute, so people come to his shows expecting him to sing close to the original way it was performed.

Marc and his band do this song in concert and on the wanna try part he has the audience join in! They are phenomenal to see in person (now One Vision of Queen)! If they’re ever anywhere near your area, you won’t regret going to see them! We’ve seen them twice (so far) ❤️🎼🎹🎸🥁🎤

I adore Marc! I can’t pick a favorite from any of his one take covers. Sometimes it’s Who Wants to Live Forever or We are the Champions, and sometimes it’s this one! The whistling takes it to another level. He also plays a surprise instrument on I Want to Break Free. You should check that out when you have a chance. Enjoyed the video sir. You’re very charming.
