How to listen to salsa music - classes for dancers.

In this episode, we introduce you to salsa piano - in particular to the piano tumbao. We go through many different examples and we would like you to try to find the rhythm with us. We encourage you do dance it, not only to watch and listen.

This is the first video about salsa musicality. We will come back with many more to help you to improve the way listen to Latin music and to be able to able to apply it to dancing.

super, much appreciated. It all sounds as if it comes out of a tap to me, I can never hear the differences and changes, but I DO want to understand the music, and dance to the music, not by rote, I just need a simple, patient way in. You really do bridge the Cuban spirit and the learner. (really love the improv bits.) Thankyou again.
