I honestly really appreciate that Galeem/Darkhon is actually a triple threat. I think it is a fitting Smash Bros. Final boss fight. The whole point is that Smash isn’t a 1v1 fight, so how fitting that the final boss isn’t one either. And the game does make it clear that they aren’t just dealing incidental damage to each other, they are ACTIVELY trying to kill each other, and will indeed die so at the earliest opportunity.

Imma say Dracula. The Blah Blah Blah taunt is demoralizing af.

As a monster hunter fan, I absolutely love rathalos' fight in smash and how it references monster hunter mechanics. The deku nut only working when it hits him in the head similar to how blunt weapons or certain attacks from other weapons deal stun damage when hit on the head, causing monsters to be knocked down. The pitfall being a reference to the pitfall traps, been using the same animation with him being buried and flailing around. The bombs and explosive barrels being refences to barrel bombs which can be placed and later detonated by either the players or monsters attacking it. It's attacks are also mostly directly ripped from his various fights in the monster hunter series

"Oh, and also Sephiroth, but he doesn't care"
Yeah, that sums up Sephy pretty well.

You are legally obligated to use the cool Bowser meme for when you talk about the Mario Wonder final boss

I was very surprised to see that master hand has like 2x the amount of attacks that I thought he did, I've never seen a bunch of the projectile attacks nore the bouncing lasers, it's super weird seeing them here lol, guess the fight was so short he literally couldn't use any of them

Off topic but I can imagine Odyssey preparing a suit and tie for the new FNAF movie

something I like to mention is when in world of light you get to play as master hand that is honestly my favorite moment of the whole mode

I love watching non-Kirby players think that the Marx fight was exaggerated for the sake of Smash, but it’s actually 100% accurate to the games.

I liked fighting Galeem and Darkhon at the same time.

Story: When I was beating World of Light for the first time, I used Yoshi, Pit, and Link for the final level. When I had Yoshi, I almost died by using his down special during the platforming section before one of the fighting sections 😅. But props to me for beating this first try I guess

Imma be a Monster Hunter nerd for a moment so bear with me.

Rathalos in smash is pretty accurate to its home series version. The attacks done are mostly taken straight from the games (tail whip turn around, the dash into laying down, even the increased airtime after taking some damage and the flying claw attacks), with very small tweaks for adaptation's sake (specifically the shooting fireball from the background move). The animations are pretty similar too.

Even the Deku nuts act as substitute for flashbombs (they normally work when thrown in front of the monster, not directly on the head but that's fine too) and Pitfall traps acting like stuns while it's in the air and ... Well, pitfall traps is very cool.

Small stuff like the bomb barrels and the fighting arena are icing on the cake to me.

Marxx is still gonna be one of my favourite tho.

Marx is easily my favorite boss fight in Ultimate. It was SO AWESOME seeing his crazy looking attacks redone in 3D! Marx is so GOATED!!

Galleem is underrated. Apart from the rings, his attacks the most fun to avoid in the game for me between the cross bombs, fireball machine gun, electric orbs, grid lasers, solar waves, and summoning puppets. I had to re-fight him a lot, but I did not get tired of it. His theme is also one of the best in the game IMO.

It's awesome that Dracula and Marxx are literally the same boss from their respective games. Same moves and everything. The attention to detail on those two is insane.

11:45 I have never understood why the closest thing to a Bowser's Castle stage is the *third* form of the Paper Mario stage. How many first world levels do we have to have. It feels like a no brainer that should've been in Brawl.

I’m surprised that I still dont expect the cool bowser clip even though it’s so predictable…

My personal favorite boss is Marx, the vibe is really creepy which I like and the attacks are fun. None of the bosses are really that bad though

I know nothing about classic mode so seeing Sephiroth have every single boss as his final classic mode boss is extremely funny to me. Especially since he's the last one listed every time lmao

No no, they’re all last place because you can’t grab them

I love Marx's battle. Yeah it's another Super Star reference when it didn't need one but I feel like Marx was the best choice for if we got a Kirby boss (Except for mabe Zero but....I don't think that'll work). Plus he's so 1-1 to his boss while still having new attacks. He even does that thing where his first attack after reaching half health is the black hole. Also he was supposed to be creepier but the developers had to dial it back. The need for a dial back coming from Kirby is very fitting.
