I really really like that first one. It looks like it has hard walls instead of tent material like most popups.. but I actually really enjoy using the pop up campers because like you said, it’s like sleeping in a tent but your up off the ground and have a few more amenities!! But that first one for $11, 000 is absolutely perfect for me!

I like the hard shells. I know that they add a little to the price tag but that added protection from wildlife (bears, in particular) is worth it if you want to spend much time in the mountains.

I spent many nights in my 76 Apache just like this with my 2 Todders in the early 80s. Easy pull, set up, and take down...even while juggling the babies.❤

I really like the slide-out model popups. After being stuck inside a small popup (no slide) during a weekend storm with my wife, two kids and their grandmother, interior room does matter! The rain was blowing sideways, so sitting outside under the awning was not an option on that trip... We had to dash to the bath house to use the toilet. A shower/bath is definitely on my list also! We ended up getting a refund for the remaining two nights and renting a cabin onsite. It took awhile to convince my wife to go camping again (I took her tent camping on our first trip after I met her). The popup was a compromise. If your spouse doesn't like roughing it, get a popup with all the bells and whistles (just trust me on this one). Some are now prewired for Solar!

With parents, grand parents and pop up, with added porta potty, we enjoyed traveling to canada from Oregon. Great memories!

Hands down on the first one. Nothing beats a private bathroom!
And it's got really nice unusual lines.
I grew up with a 1960s Coleman popup camper in a family of 4. It was cozy!

Very good reviews of the pop ups. We currently own a "A-Liner" 2015 and had many trips. For 2 people it has everything we need: heat, ac, toilet, microwave, stove, sink (in smaller versions). We are now looking to trade up. Very good advise to rent first before you buy. See if you like RV-ing first and what type of camping RV-ing you want to do.

I found my perfect pop up. A 2010 Coleman Evolution E4. It has a walled shower/toilet combo. Dinette slide, bigger than normal fridge for a popup and a deck on the front to put our golf cart or motorcycles on. In a little less than two years our retirement adventure starts.

That was a really great video I loved and enjoyed seeing all the different models that you showed I just recently got a used pop-up camper it is a 1995 Thor Skamper and it has the bathroom in it and shower like the one popup you showed and I'm very much looking forward to taking it camping next summer it might even go with me on a winter vacation out west this year

I guess I have gone a little green as in more Back To Nature for camping because originally I started out with a popup work my way up from small travel trailers to a class C motorhome and now I'm back to the popup again :-)

But like you said you can't beat the feeling of it's like you're outdoors in a tent but you're not and you're up off the ground and you can enjoy the scenery and the sound of the nature but you still have your RV conveniences

This really surprised me because I never knew pop ups have bathrooms. When I was a kid we had a pop up camper and it didn't have a bathroom. We had a portable toilet. Our pop up camper was a 1995 Coleman Rio Grande. After that we bought a 2001 Sportsmen camper. Now I have a brand new travel trailer. I bought a 2022 Jayco Jay Flight 224BH after we sold the Sportsmen camper to a guy who has custody to his kids. Thanks for sharing that information
