We still use local AD (and AD Connect) because the dependence on Microsoft changes is too much. In the cloud, they constantly change settings, prices and subscriptions. In the latest letter from Microsoft they informed us of another 11% increase for Europe.

Would love to see a video about managing apps for AVD hosts using Intune, particularly on multi-session VMs. I am debating how I want to handle images/apps/updates in the environment we will be spinning up soon. Had success with this on the Windows 365 side of the house previously.

Thank you for that video, Dean. But wait a minute what is with "Group Policy Preferences" are there any plans to do it as well with Intune. I know for Registry keys I can setup some Settings in to a Application package, but this is not the same. Are there any plans from MS to do it as well? Also, a second question, when we get better filtering options on a Configuration Policy like GPPs Item-Level Targeting?

Very informative video, but I think mentioning that this is only supported for desktop OS would be of benefit to a lot of people watching this video. Until Server OS can be managed the same way, getting rid of AD and "going 100% cloud" isn't as easy or simple as described. Nonetheless, I am in agreement that removal of classic AD should be the goal (as long as MS provides the same capabilities in the cloud).

We use Azure Active directory domain services for our AVD environment because one of our citrical on prem application SAP ERP requires kerberos authentication whcih is not possible with Azure AD. Any suggestions on this? Is there anything in microsoft road map for this development?

Here's a question - if I'm not running any legacy applications on site, should I discontinue use of Azure AD Sync and join all of my desktops to Azure AD? Why or why not? Might make a good video topic!

Hello Dean, the FSLogix templates are not supported, the Profile assignment status shows as Not Applicable!

Is there any plans to remove a maximum of 10 admx files import limit currently in preview?

I think there's an error on your video about FSLogix, it shows as "not supported" if pushed to w10/w11 enterprise multi session. have you tried to implement it in production? T.i.a.!!!

Good video. What about servers apart from endpoint machines? Can we manage them as well?

multi-session OS variants will return a not-applicable result for the fslogix settings unless something has changed in the last month or so.
