Where has this clown been for the last 5 weeks, why would anyone who was not their choice and who has managed to crash the pound and the gilt markets have anyone confidence. And her supporters need to stop touting the 'Energy cap plan' as part of her budget, that's was a done deal agreed prior to Boris's downfall all she did was announce it. It had been trailed for weeks and the markets had already built the cost into their assumptions. It was there uncosted tax plans which scared them, income from which would have set against the cost of the 'energy cap'.

Liz Truss and her government has started out "on the wrong foot", with already one key member being "sacked". Here is what was told to the nation of ancient Israel's elders at the city of Ramah who wanted a "change in government", from a theocratic king they could not see to a political king they could see, like the nations "next door".

The account at 1 Samuel 8 says: "Then Samuel prayed to Jehovah (God's name, see Isa 12:2, KJV), and Jehovah said to Samuel: “Listen to everything the people say to you; for it is not you whom they have rejected, but it is I whom they have rejected as their king. They are doing just as they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day; they keep forsaking me and serving other gods, and that is what they are doing to you. Now listen to them. However, you should solemnly warn them; tell them what the king who rules over them will have the right to demand.”(1 Sam 8:6-9)

Samuel told the elders of ancient Israel that "this is what the king who rules over you will have the right to demand: He will take your sons and put them in his chariots and make them his he will appoint for himself chiefs over thousands and chiefs over fifties, and some will do his plowing, reap his harvest, and make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be ointment mixers, cooks, and bakers. He will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and he will give them to his he will take your male and female servants, your best herds, and your donkeys, and he will use them for his day will come when you will cry out because of the king you have chosen for yourselves, but Jehovah will NOT answer you in that day.”(1 Sam 8:10-18)

The mess the world is in today is because of nations creating their own way of ruling, exchanging theocracy for politics, just as the nation of ancient Israel wanted, rejecting Jehovah's rightful and wise rulership over them, and suffered the consequences, in which Jehovah would NOT back them up, but allowed them to suffer extreme loses.(see Num 14:39-45; 1 Sam 4:1-11)

On the other hand, those who listened and obeyed Jehovah were FULLY backed by him, so that even when the odds were "stacked against them", they were protected and won their battles decisively.(see 2 Sam 8:1-15; 2 Chron 20:1-23)

So, here is what truly wise people do: "Do not put your trust in princes (or Prime Ministers) nor in a son of man, who cannot bring salvation. His spirit (or life force) goes out, he returns to the ground; On that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is the one who has the God of Jacob as his helper, whose hope is in Jehovah his God."(Ps 146:3-5)

Jehovah has created the needed government in God's Kingdom, that will solve ALL the problems facing mankind with perfection.(see Matt 6:10) So, is there anyone who wants the perfect life that Jehovah has promised under God's Kingdom, perfect peace, security, health, love and weather, that will last forever on a paradise earth ?(see Rev 21:3-5)

This man is confused on how leadership works and trust is gained. You don't show leadership by making laws that only benefit the top 1%. You don't gain trust by just ordering people around and looking busy. You lead by doing what's right, and you gain confidence from the people WHEN they see you doing those things right. My word how to these "people" get into power control positions? *...how do these "people"...not "how to". P.S. I'll also add when you make an error, you admit to it and then correct it, as we are infallible creatures and nothing rankles more than confidence in one's own ignorance.
