Mechanical engineer here, yes the wrench is a real tool, the tabs on the inside face is keying of some kind, meant to seat the tool in the proper position around whatever it's spinning. It is a torquing tool of some kind, meant to spin something that is really hard to spin. Likely not very far, as it would be quite a pain to align and re-align the tool every time you needed to take it off and reposition. Looks like it's for 8 inch heads, could be 20 cm but given carhartt shirt it's more likely to be in north America than Europe.
8 inch head bolts are used a few places, but not many. Locking large things to the ground using bolts, like radio tower guy-wires or the bottom of steel water tower frames. My best guess is that it's used to turn valves, not screw something in, given the keying suggests that exact orientation matters. Likely some high-pressure fluid system? City water main line from a reservoir, or gas valves on and oil fired power plant or natural gas peeker plant. Something of that nature.

The wrench is a real thing, you can see that it's keyed, which means its a proprietary tool for a particular type of fastener. not a crane base wrench I can tell you that much at least

This was actually VERY common back at the factory. So, when they get made, it starts as this big ol' slab of gummy, and there's this press that cuts the candy shapes. Sometimes, however, it... Yes, that wrench is probably real. They’re used for very large equipment and often need to be held by two people to be properly used. I’ve seen similar, although perhaps not quite that big, on ferries, shiploaders, and in a hydroelectric plant.

The original picture of that spider monkey is actually the only Dwarf left in existence in the Elder Scrolls Morrowind. The only thing that stopped him from disappearing from existence was due to him exploring another dimension at the time. Just imagine that you got home and found out that everyone in your town just instantly disappeared from existence and the only reason you're still around is because you we're out of town at the time.
