I haven’t cried in years… I’ve been numb after my mother passed in 2016. But the concept of this album had me feeling broken. Hearing this song made me break, I cried for hours listening to this work of art.
I’m not even a Kanye Stan I only listen to Uzi, trippie, future, etc.
But Kanye is so ahead of his time. Thanks Mr. West for this complete work of art. I know your mother is proud of you.

Everybody talks about the piano, but man when he goes into the "did those ideas ever really come to life" and the chorus starts is magical. The chord changes, atmosphere, his voice, that chorus is perfect. For me, it's the peak of the album, with the ending of Pure Souls being a close number 2.

That means more to me now than ever. I always felt, like most people with regrets, that my mistakes were constantly before me and weighing me down. But when I rediscovered God for myself I was set free from those burdens by my repentance, faith in Christ, and belief that God can turn even my worst mistakes into a means for good. Even so, sometimes I feel guilt about my growth " Do I even deserve to live a happy life after the mistakes I've made and the people I've hurt?" was a constant question for me, but I remembered the above verse and felt peace knowing that I am free. My past will forever be a part of who I am and I am still responsible for the mistakes I made, but I am still free to grow, learn, and live to take those lessons and apply them to my future, making me a better person. This song touched my heart from the first time I pressed play and continues to purify my soul with every listen. Glory to God and thank you to Kanye and all involved for bringing this piece of art to Life.
