XFX Z Support Bar

The Z Support Bar was originally designed for high end system builders in order to protect the GPU, Motherboard, and other PC components from damage due to vibration in transit.

While not required for operation, it is highly recommended to use it to protect your investment of not only your graphics card, but your entire gaming computer.

I bought this and am a bit annoyed with the extra parts not shown what it goes to on the bracket and the in box QR code was supposed to be installation instructions but was a warranty link instead because they printed the same QR code twice.

I wish the video wasn’t zoomed in this is atrocious. I see where the holes line up but the other end of the bar with the oval holes is confounding me >.< I can’t even tell what the orientation of the card is from this video :/

Pity it extends the length so much, it's a bit much on the 355mm speedster, would have been the perfect fit in the north, better use something else for suppport

I recently noticed my merc 319 6950xt is sagging, mine didnt come with the z bar, where do i get one xfx? Why didnt it come with it?

I got XFX RX7900 XT myself recently (RX-79TMERCB9) and while I like the card for it's excellent performance and thermals I must ask:
- who in their mind thought that making this support bar extend the already lengthy card would be a great idea?
This BAR has such a bad design, that because of it the GPU would not fit into my ATX case when it was installed (DX500).
I had to install the card without this support bar and resolve the sag issue by using a 3-rd party vertical support bar.

XFX should either ditch this protruding support bar or at least make the tip of it angular in 90' degrees, so that as soon as it grabs the GPU from the other end it does not add up to the already huge length of the card.

Why don't you specify the added length in the specifications of the cards? Or add in the video. This is dumb.

I had so many troubles with this. Also this thing is just adding enough size to it that I had to remove the front panel of my PC to make the GPU fit

Is there a way to turn off the XFX logo lights on the 7900xt? I really like it but sometimes I don´t want it to shine. It´s the only component I couldnt figure out how to control it.

I accidentally forgot to mount the metal plate, it seems to work just fine. Is there any risk by not mounting it?

Respect I’d suggest just added a traditional anti sag stand to put under the edge of the gpu

Hello Has anyone changed the fans of the XFX 7900XTX graphics card (because they are too noisy) while using the Z Support Bar? You have to remove the shroud of the graphics card, put connectors for the pwm power supply (for the new fans = 3 artic p12 max for example) but the width of the new fans is almost 2.5 cm... However, with the Z Bar support, there is no room apparently... How to do it?

i love the performance, yet the hotspot scares me, in bg3 somethimes reach 98, and in starshiptrooper extermination, reach 110, it worries me alot
