Trudeau offers words of support to embattled minister facing calls to resign

The family history of a minister in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal cabinet has come under scrutiny this week.

Several Conservative MPs allege Employment Minister Randy Boissonnault claimed to be Indigenous in the past — something he denies. But it is not the first controversy Boissonnault has faced.
