I can imagine that it would be a very interesting conversation between God and Stephen Fry.
If it happens, I hope God will send a new book to humanity, with a discreption of the conversation.

Even if the Christian or Abrahamic version of god existed, I still wouldn't convert. The world is extremely cruel and unfair and I could never worship a god that created such a mess and let it be, even if it was in the name of "free will". I don't care if that'd get me sent to hell, I have a feeling that version of heaven would be just as unbearable too

It has been estimated by cleverer people than me that humans have invented as many as 500, 000 'gods'. It is no surprise that believers decide that their particular god is the only 'true' one. Still, thoughts and prayers, eh?

As Joesph Campbell said ' God is a thought an ideal which reference goes beyond all categories of all thought and ideas .Or as the ancient Hindu Upanishads said ' the tongue has never soiled it ' the it being the eternal mystery.

God is just a word for all creation, and all creation has a variety of problems and failures and mistakes.

Agreed. Especially anything to do with babies or children and ESPECIALLY mom's who let there partners abuse there children or with new partners let abuse they child or mothers who kill or abuse there children.. Why God Why did you let this women get pregnant and then why didn't you protect those children, .babies for god sake...I mean the horrors some children have indured. They never recover..
The women with new partners or husband who stand by knowingly, they always know deep down. The abuse, beatings, violent discipline then murdering them. It's sickening. Your a all powerful god and you stand by as this happens..

For the most people here in the comment section: you can be good humans, you can do good things, you can be nice and I’d say for most of the people here it’s a matching description. Also, you don’t need to live this life believing in god but don’t be pissed if god does not believe in you in the afterlife. If course we can’t say god is real or not, you either believe or you don’t. But all the atheists, ask yourselfs, what happens if you were right all along - according to you, nothing. What happens if the believers are right - well, different story
