I recently took delivery of a Hiwatt SA-20. Very happy to say Mothers Milk sound incredible through it

If I d have to choose, I go with the 63s. But both sound awesome.

Both sets sound incredible. Micky is an amazing player too! Would love to see Micky do a review of the Apache strat pickups. I absolutely love them in my American Pro Strat! :)

Those mother's milk sound incredible.
I love my Silo's, but they're in an S body (Chapman ML-1 PRO) and it makes em sound too thin due to the carved body, too thin but great pups.

Hi i live in the states and im wanting to swap my custom shop 69s for something closer to John Mayer tonality. What would you suggest? I could go for Suhr V63s but everyone has those in the US. I want to be different. Thanks

I preferred the mothers milk set for cleaner tones and the veneer set when driven. I really don't like it when mickey dives into the piddly piddly stuff, he has a great vibrato and both pickup sets showed how controlled and musical it is.
