This is so underrated bc most ppl who dont like it are too into turning their brains off completely. You dont actualky need to think when watching it, but that take away half of the fun, and no, it isnt a romance anime but a mustery one, and no, he didnt do wat he did for her, but rather his mom and chose not to act on his feelings bc he is an adult in a kids body

I just finished watching this, and believe it or not, like all the people in the comment section, this anime actually got me to sit down and watch it through and through, paused it a couple times to make my theories lol 😂. But regardless, this anime had an interesting concept, having the power to change something that could’ve been avoided, and Satoru gave 3 people, maybe more, the chance at life to live how they wanted to, when in his original time they never had that chance.
Great Anime, personally one of my favorites, and recommend to others to give it a shot.
