Polynomial Graphs Part 2

I continue my introduction of graphing polynomials without the assistance of a graphing calculator. I go over x-int & y-int, and I remind you how to determine if a function is even or odd to aid in graphing.

Your examples are already in factored form so you can easily find the zeros or x-intercepts. Your zeros for the first example are 0 & 3 and for the second example 0 & -5. To finish you can multiply the factors together to make these look like the other problems you are used to and finish.

Don't forget the -1 is wrapped in parenthesis and is squared, so (-1)^2 is 1. Please, any time you thing there is an error....ask! I try hard not to make them, but working full time and building my channel means I work many hours so sometimes mistakes slip through. I am getting better though:):):) Thank you very much for watching and the kind words.

Any help to share my videos with others and grow my channel is appreciated:D

Not if you have not found an example similar to that yet. It is going to be a parabola and you will need to find the x intercepts for the distance the ball was thrown and the vertex for the maximum height. I don't remember what else was asked since my textbook is at school.

Then the graph passes through the origin:) Don't forget to check the multiplicity of each of those zeros to see if the graph touches there or passes through. I hope I answered your question.
