STOP “BOTH SIDES” THIS ISSUE. One side is refusing to do their job, & the president is asking them to do their job. It’s not a “disagreement” it’s a hostage negotiation

Under Trump the debt ceiling increased: by $1.7 trillion to $19.8 trillion (de facto) in March 2017, and by $2.2 trillion to $22 trillion in March 2019. Trump suspended the debt ceiling in August 2019, through July 2021. At the time of the 2020 election, the national debt stood at over $27 trillion, the fastest rate of increase of the national debt of any modern president.

They really need to start cutting some of these politicians salaries because some of them are just plain worthless

I’m more interested in getting Trump in to prison.

Notice how they're SPECIFICALLY bringing up the publics "lack of outrage" without any proof, making it seem like it's an issue we don't care about. Helps them place the blame on us, for what? Not calling them enough? This is unprecedented, we shouldn't be dealing with this we voted YOU IN TO DO IT. And now more cuts, less help for those in need. It makes me sick to my stomach

I think it will hurt those who don't work the most, including politicians in specific

How about recalling the decision on ppp loans to make them grants, People like Large Marge and BobbleHead received large amounts of free cash, and was not required to repay it. 100s of thousands went to Large Marge, 300, 000 somthing... that amount would forgive 15 student loans at a rate of 20, 000 each. How many elected officials received PPP "Loans" 🤔? How about cutting government officials pay. Making them pay for their own travel.

Food and everything is gone up. Now the ceiling debt is raised. By the millionaires not by the normal public. So all millionaires should pay the bill.

How about getting the 9 trillion back from the hedge fund mortgage scam back 15 years ago.

The first cut better be foreign give aways. If it goes to the people first and cutting help to Americans, we will become unhinged.

Take the GOP recommendations and equate them to the constituents in republican districts.

Vote McCarthy and this new McCarthyism out.

Musk, a GOP voter, said yesterday 4/22/2023 the debt will default, its just a matter of when. However, I've noticed the pre-market estimates for the level the stock market will open Monday hasn't changed within about 16 hours of his announcement. So apparently that comment didn't move the needle with investors.

McCarthy taking the economy hostage is absolutely pathetic. Imagine if the situation was reversed and democrats refused to spend a penny on the military until Trump's tax cuts were repealed. That’s the kind of arson we’re witnessing.
