This week Melinda is in the kitchen baking Easy Petit Fours. These tiny cakes are decorated so preciously, and made with simple ingredients, just a boxed cake mix, some pantry items, and a whole lot of confectioners sugar. They are a lot of work to make but the end result turned out pretty cute!

Happy Homemaking!

I am very impressed with your patience! The end result turned out beautiful!! Now I finally know how these are made! But yeah, it did look so messy and incredibly time consuming but for like a tea party, I think these would go perfectly. Thank you so much for making these!!

We watch with the CC on and were dying over how it turned "petit fours" into "metaphors"! We made these when I was a kid after I read about them in the AG Samantha doll books so it was fun to watch you make them. I remember the icing had to be really thin and then it did a lot of the work for you.

Maybe if you had frozen those cakes, then cut them while frozen?
I’m on a learning curve with petit fours, so I’m up to any ideas.
Thank you for your efforts!

The amount of excess cake pieces are the reason/ excuse to make cake pops

Try a white chocolate glaze instead, it's less sweet.
