For the longest time, thecubicle were the only ones that released cube reviews that were reliable, but you guys stepped it up by focusing on in-depth reviews as to rather - 'out of the box first impressions' (which almost all cube reviewers revolve their video review around). Keep doing what you guys are doing!

I wish I was like cuboss. Being brutally honest with cube reviews, but I have 0 money!

Yiheng Wang changed to Moyu and immediately started to break records. The Super Weilong V2 is what he uses now. Many think that he has been held back by Gan cubes and was so close so many times before.

Guys, you are simply crazy - to tell the truth :) I join in with every word you say. I am offended that you have so few subscribers compared to channels that only say things that are beneficial to them. Good luck to you and more subscribers!

Can't beliave that I didn't know your page until today I just watched some of your reviews and you are extremely good and are not afraid of saying the truth about any cube. I love that and now I am convinced to get the aosu and aochuang single track and save a lot of money

I really like the lighter feel of the GAN15. Originally, I wanted a cube with a ton of adjustment options so I could tune it perfectly to my style. I spent a long time getting my GAN12 just right and when I pulled the GAN15 out of the box, it already felt like that so, I agree with both points of view. Cubes I'd used previously leave adjustment to be desired. I think it's expected that they added the ability to adjust things and let the community find the best settings, then used those settings or fixed the problem they were trying to solve so now it no longer needs adjustment. They reason people are praising it now is because it no longer feel like it needs something fixed there. It's a common development pattern: add functionality -> simplify the design. They probably got a lot less feedback about the inner magnets because they're harder to change so now they added more options and took away the other adjustments so when people get bored they play with the inner magnets instead, GAN can get their feedback, and eventually eliminate the lesser used options there as well.

I went to the cubicle and tried many new and unreleased puzzles last weekend.
For someone with light turning, the gan 15 will probably be your main. There really aren’t many lockups if you do have light accurate turning.
However, the Hudong Flagship is main worthy at only $29.
If you have a flexible turning style then the V9 will challenge the GAN 12 & 15’s superior performance.
I do not have aggressive turning, so I like most 3x3s.
The GAN 12 has remained my off and on main between the v9. While I’m still warming up with less accuracy, the v9 is better. Afterwards, the GAN feels more natural.

I think one of the reasons why gan cubes are quite messy in the middle of the turne is because of its exposed enhanced core magnets compared to the moyu or other cube brands that has a “ball core”.The exposed core to corner magnets of gan makes the air and the magnetic pull so much room for a little miss alignment which causes the mess in the middle of the turns while the other brands like moyu have their ball core coated with a plastic that I think the magnetic pull ismore stable since it isnt exposed on any air momentum towards every motion of the cube.

I love the 15. Been getting my best times on it and no issues of catching or popping. Setting 6 and 2. I suppose it might depend on your tps. I’m only solving 15-19 seconds.

I'm currently thinking of buying a bucket. Which one do you recommend, if we leave aside the price? I had a Tornado V3 before and it broke.

I have a 11m pro and when I first got it it was good but not great. I love how the frosted plastic felt and the stability but I did experience lockups with it a lot. As I’ve gotten better in general while maining other cubes I’ve came back to really enjoy the 11m pro. It forces me to turn accurately and I’m really enjoying it. From what I’ve experienced with other 3x3s, mostly moyu and dianshang, those allow you to turn quicker without having to turn accurately, they make you feel like you’re doing well but it’s a false hope. When I use my gan and I get a good time I feel even better about it because I know I turned well during the solve.

Appreciate the honesty guys! I recently got a Gan 12 to try out what a modern Gan feels like (my last Gan was the XS). Honestly I think it feels cheap compared to the Tornado and Moyu cubes that feel much less rattly for half the price or less. It's not that bad but it's not premium or outstanding like Gan used to be. I personally think Gan peaked at the X & XS.

Hey ive been looking to get this cube, the Gan 12 or the Tornado V3 but cant really decide, im aware of the locking issues on the 15 and the 12 but people state that they go away with time and talking time the v3 apparently breaks after a while, so i was wondering which one would you reccomend? (I know moyu has great options but all my previous cubes have been moyu and i want to try something else hehe)

Edit: before reading, understands that im trying to have a neutral viewing point and that i would love to hear other opinions.
Great video. As a mostly moyu user, i kinda like my gan 15. I agree, the adjustment system is kinda really trash but i've only used it once and never again. But the popping thing i cant agree with. I dont have my cube on really tight or loose settings just kinda in the middle and i dont experience any popping at all. Even when trying to pop it. And the catching part is something i also dont really feel in my cube. Yes i do feel some but in my opinion its way better than on the 11, 12, 13 or 14. Maybe this is my turning style but i mostly have a fairly aggresive turning style. So it makes me wonder, maybe you have a faulty one on your hands? this is only speculation but i would love to hear something back.

5:03 for the magnet adjusting I 100% agree that having magnet adjusting was better than replacing the rods, but I guess it works anyways.

But when you used that GAN fire hydrant tool, I don’t think you were supposed to jam it in. I rotated the tool lightly until the rod shape just fit in, and once it does you just rotate counter clockwise the rod piece and take the hydrant off, then use your finger to pull the rod off. The hydrant is just to lock and unlock the rods I think.
