18, 000 fans in attendance, a sellout, on a day that the NFL was playing. So much for the Caitlin fans saying attendance will plummet with her out.

18 thousand plus fans A RECORD to see two great teams play. 2 things make that impressive. NFL Sunday. And unlike Indiana. Consumers have so much more they could be spending their dollars on in NYC. Especially on a nice weather day. Museums, shopping, restaurants, etc... so much for the mythology that no one cares about the WNBA if you know who isn't playing!

Wait, I thought that NO ONE was going to watch after Clark got exposed and was swept in the first round??? Let's look at the FACTS shall we? 1.1 MILLION viewers watched Game 1, which was THE MOST WATCHED GAME 1 OF WNBA FINALS HISTORY. That means that WITHOUT CAITLIN CLARK the WNBA Finals was able to reach the million viewer mark for the FIRST TIME in 21 years. The problem is that Clark stans want to believe that no one watched the WNBA before they came along, when in reality, viewership has increased for the Finals in each year. Viewership as a WHOLE for the WNBA is up. We know that because the Aces sold out their arena BEFORE Clark got drafted. See, you can always spot Clark stans because all they ever talk about are viewership and attendance numbers, whereas the rest of us just enjoy the GAMES and don't care who else is watching. True fans are fans of the WNBA and of BASKETBALL in general. Clark fans are simply fans of Caitlin Clark, and we can do without them as has been evidenced by the record-breaking numbers and the amazing gameplay. It just BURNS them when they see proof that the league doesn't need their messiah because there will always be better players coming down the pipeline to grow the league. The best part has been watching Ionescu reminding people that SHE is the best shooting guard in the W. I guess that's why SHE'S still playing, hitting those 3s while Clark is sitting at home watching 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That was another great game. It looked like the Lynx were going to pull off another upset at the end when they got within 2 with just over 5 minutes remaining. People who are not tuning in are missing one of the best series of all time. Seems like NY is overloaded with talent but the Lynx just never quit so are always in it to the end.

Like I said before, Bridget Carleton being a non-factor in these playoffs & finals could end up costing the Lynx a title

Game 2 attendance 18, 046, and Game 1 was was reported by the WNBA as being sold out with an attendance of 17, 732, which come to think about it, is that number is 314 fewer, than Game 2.

One last point playoff games as a rule the price of tickets increases, with the Liberty having to give large discounts to see tickets and give free tickets to bring in people.


Fever and Sky regular season game had an average ticket price of $334 and were selling for up to $514 each, no free tickets needed to fill the house.

To the game.

Unless the Refs lose the Liberty season-long Special Whistle, the Liberty will have the upper hand, not there in game one, it was there big time in game two.
