Being a healer is this game is a nightmare, but im a healer. Players are running around with their heads up their asses, healing range is too short, targeting others and myself with heals feels clunky, and nobody tanks fireballs from the lion 😂

In my OWN opinions this the best MMO we had in YEARS and maybe the mmo with THE MOST content at release, i played a shit ton on kr version and i think the game has a LOT of potential, especially irs crossplatform, the fact we dont hve any mmo on console but ff14 and eso, im so happy withthis

been playing all through early access, stressing out about perfecting my build and was genuinely having a bad time. then i stopped taking it seriously and just started fishing and cooking and now im much happier.

This is the first MMO ive decided not to make my progress a rush, or competition between me & everyone else. The time gate stuff does stink, but, at level 30 there is plenty of stuff to keep you occupied every day.

its a decent game so far for me, i just play for about 30 mins-1hr a day, just taking it casual.

Biggest problem is the dungeon system. You pick your role.. but the game doesnt check to make sure you are that role.
Do you know how many dungeons where I have had no healer? Or 5 tanks?

As a long-time XIV player, im enjoying this game immensely. I am only level 25, though, and havent experienced any pvp.

Great game. I just wish it ran better on the Series X. The frame rate drops to sub 20 fps during large scale content.

Lots of qol right off the rip, they had a 6mo beta for a reason and it shows they are listening, they know players, they play test their own game. I have been very surprised, I'll be surprised if my guild doesn't switch to playing this more than when NW Aternum comes out

I hated it after the first 15 minutes. Gave it a bit more time and it's growing on me. Totally agree with your assessment. The UI is the worst part by far which is why it hurts when you login for the first time.

That subscription you mentioned shroud is a thing in KR but when they did the open beta people wanted it removed so they did

Is the draw distance for any moving persons, etc.. low? Or its the settings?

I'd argue timegating is the worst option. If I want to play the game, I want to play it how I want, not limited by some arbitrary limit that the devs think is appropriate so they can get me to log on the next day and play out of fomo. 3 dungeons a day limit really pushes FOMO, unless they stack up each day. If I miss out on a day or 2 of not playing, there goes potential loot. If there was no limit, I could catch up. FOMO exists in all MMOs, but arguing for timegating is pretty weird. Other games can't really replicate it the same way, but imagine logging on to COD or something similar, and only being allowed to play 3 matches a day so the devs can slow your progress unlocking guns, the community would go ballistic and the game would die.

The game is great sure it has some bad things about it but it is exactly what it is advertised as. A guild focuses pvp mmo. It runs very well and is quite fun and engaging
