Pan Zhanle also went to swim 45.92 in the 4x100medley relay freestyle leg

An honorable mention to Pan Zhanle's incredible kick
(I did not include in the video because people have noticed far before I have)

I dont' swim, but even I can see that Pan's swim generates less splash and looks smoother than others. If I can see it, all the swimming coaches and athlets must see it too.

What's more impressive is that a few months ago, when Pan made a world record of 46.80, he could swim faster than 46.60. In an interview with CCTV, he said he didn't want to swim too fast because he wanted other competitors to aim for 46.7. He needed to train harder to stabilize his performance within 46.5 seconds. He asked the television station not to show the interview before the Olympic Games. The interview was released after the final a few days ago.

Pan is absolutely the best with a world record 🎉

Pan's legs are the key to his success.
No matter how Pan's arms stroke, his legs always maintain a constant frequency
When he surpassed the French last leg, the underwater camera can clearly see the comparison of the two people's legs.
You can check that

Note how little splashes he makes compared to other swimmers. And almost no up and down movement of his head while breathing, only 1 of his eye is out of the water. Also his lean and skinny body will encounter less resistance while moving forward. Revolutionary.

Pan actually broke his own record 46.40 again in the same olympic! He swam less than 46 in the final lap of 4x100m! You shud look at his catching up at the 4th lap, its basically rocket!

I have not seen such outstanding performance in long long time. Simply awesome!

What impressive is Pan beat doping American and Australian.

His stroke is very efficient like the former Olympic champion Alexander Popov of Russia. He gets his speed with less movement and friction. What a swimmer.

pay attention to the lack of splash and it's not because he's small. he's 6 foot 4. that means all the energy is being used to push forward vs energy going up and down when you're splashing.

Pan Zhanle mentioned in the latest interview that he hopes to maintain his record as much as possible during his service, but records will always be broken by someone. As long as someone breaks the "box" in their thinking, it may be players from European and American countries, or it may be player from small countries, maybe his teammate. He enjoys this challenge very much.He is very focused on his career and has a big picture.

Pan’s swim like he’s an arrow /rocket gliding through the water but other competitors are all splashing and creating more resistance with too much body rotation, not surprise why Pan is the king here

I dunno if its my eyes, but i feel like his strokes cause less splashing compared to the rest of the other athletes
