I've been following this channel for two months now and I can almost do one lap for the first time in my life! This dude takes a breath every stroke and doesn't kick like a paddle boat which is very instructive.

It's the body position thats amazing his whole body stays on top of the surface. I need the effortless swimming express package, how many lessons to get me this good :-)

Smooth, graceful, and amazingly efficient. I’ll be watching and rewatching this a lot.

It's like a meditation or a prayer. Beautiful.

Watching this video makes me realize how much lesser effort I put into my pull. The way I do it is like petting a cat.

It’s very impressive. Great technique and very strong athlete. That’s a lifetime of training!

Very beautiful, but the thing is that it's hard doing this good, but in my way I'm getting 28.37 which isn't that good. Been stuck for a few weeks now, and wondering if breathing every stroke is good?

I did that in a set of 50's in my workout today. I might have been using fins and paddles, I can't remember? What a coincidence!

beautiful. But just couple of questions (when compared to regular, but non-professional swimmer as I am. what lengh he covers under water? It seems like min. twice or 3 times longer that usually someone does. It makes already couple of strokes less i suppose. Second, anyone can confirm the beat kick here? Is it 4 beat kick?

I was watching his kicks: Every two strokes, beginning with his right stroke pull phase: right kick, left kick, right kick, left kick, right kick(sic), an extra right kick before the next cycle. So he's doing 5 kicks every two strokes, with two consecutive right kicks. That was interesting to see (and encouraging, really).

(To see this clearly I would advise to put the speed down to 1/4th.)

How much effort is he using? Obviously he is going fast, but it looks like he's not using much effort. How much faster can he go?

Great information and extremely helpful

One of the smoothest, most efficient strokes I have ever seen. The other video where he does 100 set to music is worth watching.

That breathing technique is the hardest for me.

The hand leaves the water far later than mine, really makes the most of each pull. Plus the hands are almost in the water together out front. Thanks, a lot to work on here

Is 25 stroke good for 50m. Usually youd go for 13-14 given you are not sprinting

When I watch videos like this, I am confused by the kick. He seems to deliberately do 3 kicks per pull stopping kicking when he is breathing and not pulling. But I do q continuous kick which I counted ends up being 3-4 kicks per stoke (better than 3) and yet it's slower. Why is continuous slower tgen deliberate 3 kicks?

I just did a 24 stroke as well!

But in a 25m pool. Another time I did 66 strokes in a 50m pool. Time was around 1:30 mins. I’m super super slow when compared to other swimmers, even when compared to newbies…. Been trying many different things from various youtubers but to no avail. Is there such thing as as being naturally less buoyant due to heavier bones??

Wait...23 strokes /50 m is a sign of good technique? Im a begginer, and I avarage 22 strokes/50. I always work on my technique. But im much slower like 58 s - 1:05 something like that
