You’ve saved me a bundle, Dr. Dray! At 54, I’ve thrown so much ridiculous amounts of money at my skin only to discover that less is more, sunscreen’s where it’s at, and drugstore is excellent. Love your channel! Thank you 🇨🇦

My derm keeps pushing expensive products on me that she sells in her clinic. It's awkward because although I'm happy with the progress I've had with her, it's hard to trust her when she keeps suggesting that I use a particular 50 euro cleanser 😬. It's hard to find private practice derms who do not do this

Dr. Dray, FYI your channel has helped me so much with what is worth it and what I need to do to care for my skin. Your makeup and skin are so ON POINT today. Whatever tinted SPF you're using is so glowy and natural. <3 Keep up the great work! T

I have learned so much in my older experienced age about skincare products which I would have started seriously in my 20’s. It blows my mind about drug store skincare being just as good as the products sold in my dermatologist office. I worked next door to a fantastic dermatologist office and the girls would always bring over all these great products. So blessed and thankful. The only thing that I will spend my extra money on is the Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic. I love everything but I could never afford the cost so I appreciate you breaking everything down.

Thank you for another one of your educational videos regarding the marketing and sale of skincare products. I worked as medical staff 'cover' in an outpatient dermatologist's office, but we didn't sell any skincare (partly because we were part of a wider medical group/healthcare system). We did endorse the regular use and application of sunscreen by our patients, via patient awareness and education. Drugstore and pharmacy skincare has certainly come a long way, since the days of Oil of Ulan (now known as 'Olay'), Pond's Cold Cream, and Johnson's Baby Oil being used as a suntanning primer (makes me cringe, now). I'm still thankful for an aunt who gifted me 'sun-cream' at Christmas, starting when I was 10 years old. It wasn't the done thing, back then.

This video is why you’re my favorite skin care expert on and off YouTube. First, you’re an actual dermatologist. Second, you’re so transparent. Third you break down ingredients in layman’s terms accessible to all. Fourth your skin speaks for itself, absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been an asethetician for twenty years. I used to reference Paula’s Choice/Beutypedia for honest ingredient reviews until they were purchased by Unilever. I always refer my clients to your YouTube channel now, you’re the best!

Thanks for explaining this. We can always count on you to give us the truth. I've never been tempted to use medical grade skin care. I'm perfectly happy with otc products. Happy Monday, Dr Dray!! I hope you have a tranquil evening. 💖

Good to know! The only product like that I ever bought in a Derm's office was an EltaMD sunscreen. Which I did like a lot.
