After 25 years of working for a VERY high end cosmetic company I can say “yay!” -finally someone telling the truth!!! 🎉❤️

Having worked at a medical spa (in administration), I can say that majority of the "consultants" were more interested in making their commission than necessarily selling you what you needed. As opposed to when my mother saw a dermatologist and was given a list of suggested products that she would purchase elsewhere, including house brand products.

Oh my goodness, this just knocked me down with being a skincare snob😧 I always thought using products from my dermatologist office were top of the line, very best to use and now I see The big picture. I am blessed to get these products for a very low price but sure is nice to know that I can replace them with over the counter products that will do the same job. Thank you for the education of this very confusing subject 😳

Instead of feeling sad because I can’t spend hundreds of dollars on expensive skincare, I now feel like a “ Smart Cookie “ for not wasting my money.

I’m thrilled that your channel popped up on my home page. It’s so refreshing to have a medical professional share their knowledge and speak the truth about drugstore skincare. Thank you so much!!

I started looking for skin care on youtube and ended up following the actresses and models who don't know anything about skin care but keep harping throughout the video, I am beautiful and my skin is so smooth blabla and sell very expensive and not so good creams and lotions. I finally found a genuine channel. You deserve to be at the top whenever someone types skincare on youtube search box🤗🤗

Thank you so much for this video! I keep seeing estheticians claiming that medical grade skincare is so much better, basically degrading drugstore skincare to being "ineffective" 🙄. So thanks for explaining this! ❤️

I just discovered your channel and I am so excited to be along for this YouTube journey with you. One suggestion, though ... Would you please consider eliminating the background music. I find it very distracting and it makes it difficult to concentrate on your informed opinions. Thank you! Looking forward to more of your work here :)

Absolutely loved your video. Thank you! Would love to see anti-aging skincare for more mature skin types over 50. ☺ I'm 49 yrs old with combo skin so I need a separate eye cream for my dry, crepey under eyes it's hard to find a good option that is affordable but effective.

That fact you collected interviews in addition to your other research is incredible. Your presentation is clear, concise and so approachable and friendly. You're an amazing educator and dermatologist. I just turned 25 and dove into the skin care rabbit hole and you've made that navigation so much easier. Thanks for all your effort.

Thank you so much for this information! I went to an aesthetician who recommended me try Medical grade skincare. Looking back she was looking after her pockets instead of my skin! 🙁

Hi. This is the first time you have come up on my page. I really enjoyed this video. Then a thought I was having wouldn't go away so I googled it. I typed if drugstore brands and medical grade brands have access to the same ingredients such as L'oreal owning Skinceuticals why would anyone buy the more expensive. That doesn't make sense. But the answer I received did. Yes, they both have the same ingredients available to them. The difference is how much of that same ingredient they put in the product. Then it was broken down to how many bottles of the drugstore brand you would have to buy to equal the same amount in one bottle of the medical grade brand. That make perfect sense. The drugstore does not use anywhere close to what the medical grade contains so their price is going to be significantly less. The total amount of money you would have to spend plus how much longer it would take to see the same results was a very compelling comparison. I am just glad I did the research for my own knowledge!! If you have anything to add, please do! Looking forward to your upcoming videos! Thanks, Janet
