Were the Cinebench scores taken when the charger was plugged in? Maybe try removing the charger from both Macbook and XPS and compare.
These Intel laptops perform well only when connected to power and once unplugged they throttle down significantly and can't perform that well.

Connect charger and do gaming test. Because there might be some kind of max tdp working while using power from battery.

thanks for sharing this! I returned my new xps 14 after a week. This laptop has a terrible keyboard! Also, the borderless trackpad- is a seriously a too bad. Very pretty laptop but unfortunately not practical. Anyone who thinks to buy this one should know about this problem.

I have the M3 Pro MacBook Pro and I can tell you that the Mac is better in all categories, display of Mac is brighter, XPS isn't just color accurate enough as they tuned to white it out and also speakers on Mac are so good, that he didn't even compare it to Dell... SponsorWiser 😂

If you are a professional who needs stuff done on the go, just get the mac i can’t emphasise on how many times the windows devices have died on me on a flight. Like they don’t even last long if you are working on Figma.

Or just wait for the qualcom devices to drop and compare them. But just saying, doing a blender workflow in a flight is just magic.
