CODA is an extraordinary film, unfortunately missed seeing Dune on the big screen but will catch it up on BluRay. Adored Ghostbusters Afterlife, a beautifully crafted story. When Annie Potts said “can I help you” in that nasally voice I almost teared up. Great list and thanks for you work.

You guys really know how to make an intro. Those selections of scenes combined with the song made me want to see the movies more than the original trailers did.

A film that flew under the radar for most, In the Heights, I felt had some really stunning shots and overall a great adaption of the Broadway musical. Had some minor flaws but also so really stellar moments

Not to sound like a Snyder fanboy, but that Snyder Cut was next level. And The Eyes of Tammy Faye was incredible. Two of my top movies of the year that weren’t in this video. I’d have to think on the other 19.

Love the intro highlight reel/trailer for all the films. So good 😍

I haven’t seen much of this twist but my favourites are :

1. Inside -unique experience, raw and creative. Loved no burnham before this but this was another level

2. A quiet place 2 - made me realise I like horror, thriller, mystery as long as there’s good character arc and not just action/plot. (I never identified as a horror-film fan before)

3. Dune - Best cinematography by far - but since it’s only part 1, I would say I would appreciate it more once all the films come out and I can appreciate a full story arc.

4. ghostbusters afterlife - loved it so much I went back and watched the first film for the 1st time.

5. Spider-Man no way home- very much anticipated. got Spider-Man into the spider verse vibes and realised he is just a kid thinking of an easy way out to solve his problems. Good ending though- *spoilers*

There are several films on this list I didn’t know about so I’m excited to check them out. I’m really glad to see The Green Knight getting some love as it’s as of now my favorite film of 2021.

Sad to not see Zack Snyder's Justice League (probably my fav) on here but it's always good to see small stuff getting shouted out and everybody's got different tastes. Glad to see shoutouts to my other favorites though. Good list!
