It Brings me so much joy to see "This is not A burial" on this list. Even if it is an honourable mention. I need to remind people that in Lesotho we actually do not have a cinema. This was our first film to even be submitted for an Oscar submission. It's a precious movie that we really take to heart. I am so happy it's influence is being felt even further than our small borders, literally and metaphorically.

I just want to respond to your message to the viewers and say that you could not begin to imagine how much your videos have meant to me. I started watching years ago with your video on Cloud Atlas and it profoundly changed and evolved my personal philosophy in terms of art, the pursuit of morality, and coping with an adverse and often brutal reality. I think that the work you do exemplifies the themes of that story in a sense of how our individual actions shape our collective reality and future, with an acknowledgment that the good that we do can linger in the world well beyond our time. There's a lot of rational optimism in these videos and that is so incredibly helpful and important given the reality and future we are currently facing. Thank you so much.

Your channel, along with Jacob Geller, Noah Caldwell-Gervais, CJ The X and maybe a few others, is one that I'll be thrilled to support on patreon once I start working again (immunocompromised). I never thought I would want to support someone on patreon but all of your channels approach media criticism in a way that implies a passion for the medium of criticism that most other channels don't. I think we all know 45 minute-2 hour long philosophical meanderings are not the most profitable in terms of effort-cash ratio.
